| Описание: | The necessity to estimate the national economy competitiveness for strategic decisionmaking concerning its competitiveness is proved in the article. Theoretical generalization of methodological approaches to determining the national economy competitiveness has been executed. Existing techniques to estimate the national economy competitiveness level by means of different approaches have been considered and analyzed.
Comparison of index methods of the national economy competitiveness estimation with the basic foreign analytical centre techniques has been conducted. Ratings of countries' competitiveness in 2011 have been compared by analytical agencies. It has been specified with a set of indicators that the range of the countries' competitiveness level is different, which testifies the absence of a universal technique of a complex national economy competitiveness estimation.
Imperfection of modern methods of the national economy competitiveness estimation and determination of major factors which influence competitiveness of the country have been proved.
The basic result of the research is determination of advantages and disadvantages by the existing methods of the national economy competitiveness estimation. Domestic and foreign techniques of national economy competitiveness estimation have been grouped into two approaches. Advantages of techniques to estimate the national economy competitiveness, which consist of the integrated approach to competitiveness and calculation index assessment of the components' average value which display one of aspects of competitiveness, have been specified. Lacks of techniques of national economy competitiveness estimation, the main of which is absence of strategic trends accounting in the competition development among the countries and the national economy structures have been created. |
